Mission
Laughlin AFB is the premier pilot training base for the U.S. Air Force. It is home to the 47th Flying Training Wing, responsible for producing highly skilled pilots for the U.S. Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard through specialized undergraduate pilot training (SUPT).
History
- Established: 1942 (as Laughlin Army Air Field)
