What We Are
VA Loan Network is an education and lender matching network for VA eligible borrowers. We are not a lender, broker, or government agency. If you request lender comparisons, we may share the information you provide with participating lenders so they can respond with eligibility questions, disclosures, and offers.
- Independent: We are not affiliated with the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense, or any government agency.
- Purpose: Help Veterans and Military families understand VA loans and compare options with clear disclosures.

Personal Information We Collect
We follow data minimization principles and collect only what is needed to provide the services you request. Information is collected through forms you submit, automatic data from site usage, and limited information from partners and providers.
- Information you provide: Name, email, phone, city or state, loan goal, timeline, property type, and optional self reported details such as a credit band.
- Automatic information: IP address, device identifiers, pages viewed, time on page, clicks, referrer, and approximate location derived from IP.
- Information from partners: Limited status updates from lenders such as contacted, preapproval issued, closed, or withdrawn, used to improve matching quality and service performance.

Partner policies
If you choose to apply directly with a lender, that lender’s privacy practices govern their collection and use of information. We do not control lender underwriting decisions or lender disclosures.
Sale or Sharing for Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. We may share limited identifiers and usage data with advertising and analytics partners for cross context advertising and measurement, where permitted by law and subject to your preferences.

Sensitive Personal Information
We do not request government identification numbers or financial account numbers through our standard site forms. If you provide sensitive information directly to a lender, the lender’s policies apply. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics beyond providing the services you request.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for matching, operations, security, and legal obligations. In many cases, contact information is retained for up to two years after matching to support service follow up and quality measurement. Consent records related to matching may be retained for accountability. Aggregated or deidentified analytics may be retained longer.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and security monitoring. No system is perfect, so use caution online and protect your credentials.
