VA Loan Network is a Veteran focused education and guidance platform. We are not a mortgage lender. We serve a diverse community of Veterans and Military families, including active duty Service Members, Guard and Reserve, surviving spouses, retirees, and disabled Veterans. Our goal is to present information that is accurate, accessible, and respectful to all readers.
Inclusive Language and Representation
- People first language: We avoid stereotypes and write clearly and respectfully for Service Members, spouses, caregivers, and surviving spouses.
- Representative examples: Scenarios and imagery aim to reflect the diversity of the Military community across age, race, gender, service era, family structure, and disability status.
- Accessibility focus: We favor plain language, structured layouts, descriptive alt text where practical, and readable formatting across mobile and desktop devices.

- Equitable guidance: We explain VA loan benefits, risks, and tradeoffs consistently, including information relevant to disabled Veterans, surviving spouses, and Guard and Reserve borrowers.
- Real world relevance: Examples reflect common scenarios such as PCS timelines, entitlement restoration, multi unit ownership, and transition from service.
- Ongoing review: Priority guides are reviewed periodically and when VA or related agency rules change in ways that affect eligibility or borrower outcomes.
Alignment With Fair Lending Principles
Although VA Loan Network does not make credit decisions, we support fair access to information and equitable treatment. Our content practices and introduction standards are designed not to discriminate based on protected characteristics.
